Product description

Artist Susan Fullenbaum Leaves of blues, greens, and aquas adorn this contemporary tree of life menorah. In Judaism the Tree of Life is traditionally associated with the torah. The Torah is a " Tree of Life - Etz Hayyim - to all who hold fast to it" and it represents "eternal life planted in our midst." The sky background has the Hebrew phrase above sandblasted into the background. The design was created with Julie Staller-Pentelnik, a Jewish artist specializing in Hebrew calligraphy and ketubot. The tree of life menorah would be the perfect gift for a bar or bat mitzvah gift, a wedding or any special occasion. Each piece of glass in the menorah has been hand cut, wrapped in copper and soldered into a panel. The Hebrew had been sandblasted into the background. The base is assembled and the candle holders added. There are nine candle holders, one for each night of Hanukkah and one for the Shammos, the candle that lights the other candles each night. The configuration of the candle holders in a straight line and the Shasmmos separate and higher meet the specifications of a kosher menorah.
